Welcome to the Rockledge Youth Football and Cheerleading League. Our League currently has 8 divisions of both football and cheerleading. Ages range from 3 to 15 years. Practice begins on July 1, 2009!

BCYFCA INFO

  • The detailed schedule, showing game times and specific opponents, will be available in July.
  • The BCYFCA will be divided into two Conferences.
    • North Conference: Titusville, Port St. John, Merritt Island, Rockledge, Suntree/Viera
    • South Conference: Melbourne, South Beach, West Melbourne, Palm Bay, Bayside, Sebastian
  • All teams within a Conference will play each other. The remaining games will be non-Conference games.
  • The regular season will be nine weeks long.
  • Four teams from each Division within each Conference will enter the playoffs. (Eight teams total in each Division.)

2009 Registration Information

Registration for the 2009 year has begun.

Registration for the month of July will be as follows:

Monday-Thursday 5:30 - 6:30 at the Raider Clubhouse

Flag Football - $55.00
Tackle Football - $100.00
Cheerleading - $100.00

Family Fun Day '09

Family Fun Day was an absolute sucess. The weather was glorious and the food was even better.  Families from all over Rockledge and Cocoa began arriving early to take in the activiies - from the football drills, to the water slide, to the water dunking booth, we had a fantastic day.  We will be adding more pictures throughout the week, so keep us bookmarked!

Funds are available for low income families who need assistance with registration fees. We have only a limited amount that will be given out on a first come, first serve basis!

Become a part of our youth organization. We are always looking for dedicated volunteers to help us make RYFCL a better place for our kids to experience athletics.

In order for the league to function efficiently, we rely on coaches, team moms, sponsors, event coordinators, board members ... other volunteers who will dedicate time and effort, throughout the year, all to benefit the youth of Rockledge.

League Philosophy

The Rockledge Youth Football and Cheerleading League’s philosophy is to teach the fundamentals of football and cheerleading, which prepares each player or cheerleader for their next level of play. Our organization was developed for our children to have fun and have a place that allows them to focus their energies in a positive manner while at the same time keeping them off the streets. Our teaching goals go well beyond the game of football. We instill in our children useful lifelong values such as teamwork, respect for others, commitment, strong work ethics, how to establish and achieve goals and but not least the values of education.

League Objective

We are a volunteer run organization whose basis is to provide the youth a positive and safe atmosphere to participate in football and cheerleading. The objective of the RYFCL shall be to encourage the youth of the community to respect the ideals of good sportsmanship. This will be done by stressing to the youth responsibility, teamwork, sportsmanship, self-esteem, self-respect, and respect to others. We are always seeking youth who are interested in developing, increasing and enhancing their skills. Our ultimate goals is to provide our participants with the skills, fundamentals and experience to help them compete successfully throughout their athletic endeavors.
